Dear Respected Supporters and Compassionate Individuals,
I hope this message finds you in good health and high spirits. Today, I want to share with you a deeply heartfelt message about the journey of the Kibos International Health Foundation and the urgent need for your support in our mission to make a difference in the lives of those who need it most.
Three years ago, From the very beginning, we embarked on this humanitarian project with a shared vision of improving healthcare access and quality for communities that are underserved and facing immense challenges. Today, I want to share with you a glimpse of what we have achieved and the role you have played in this journey. We knew from the outset that achieving our objectives would require unwavering dedication and collaboration from compassionate individuals like you. While we have been fortunate to receive small contributions from some of you, it’s essential to understand that a staggering 98.5% of the funding that has sustained our efforts has come from my personal finances, primarily from my salary.I always trusted and I still do, that God will be there to see us through.
During the challenging times brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic, our commitment to our humanitarian projects remained unshaken but we quickly found out that there other needs that required urgent and therefore we had to step out temporarily from our original mission. Whether it was in Homababy or Kajiado counties in Kenya, I personally financed the charity (the materials, salaries for our workers , logistics for our dedicated volunteers, and even provided pocket money to some of them. It was indeed a challenging journey and still is, and I had to struggle with the weight of these responsibilities.
We also recognized that our mission needed to expand to address the immediate needs of the communities we serve. This led us to provide essential support in the form of masks, food, and medical drugs, items that were crucial to help people during these unprecedented times.
During our recent visit to the field, we identified significant gaps that could bring profound change to the lives of those in desperate need of medical care. In a region with a population of 30 million in western kenya, where heart diseases are often a death sentence for the poor who cannot afford to travel abroad for medical care, we realized the urgency of our mission.
We urgently require a Cathlab, which comes with a price tag of approximately $150,000. Additionally, we need your assistance for logistical purposes, donations of used medical equipment, and contributions of vital medications. We invite you to join our team, as your expertise and involvement can make a tremendous difference at any level.
We understand that not everyone can provide substantial financial contributions, but even a small gesture can go a long way. Whether you can contribute $1 or $2 to our cause, it will make a significant difference. We implore you to believe in your own ability to make à difference, whether you’re an individual, a student, a businessperson, a corporate entity, a non-government organization, or a government organization, regardless of where you are in the world. If you feel the burden and the urgency of now, please, anything you have. DONATE! DONATE!
Your support is the lifeline of our organization, and together, we can make a profound and lasting impact on the lives of countless individuals and families who rely on our assistance.
To contribute, volunteer, or get involved in any way, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. Your dedication and involvement are immensely valued.
